Free Paycheck Calculator Widget for HR and Career Sites

A salary figure in a job ad means very little until a candidate knows what lands in their account. Letting them work that out on your page — including their state's tax — makes an offer concrete instead of abstract.

Paste one line of HTML and the Paycheck Calculator runs on your page — free, with no signup and no limit on traffic. Calculations happen in the visitor's browser, so nothing they type is sent anywhere.

The only condition is that the "Powered by Tallivo" link stays, as a normal followed link.

Paycheck Calculator — live preview

This is the real widget at its real URL — what you see is exactly what your visitors get.

Where HR teams, recruiters and career sites put it

  • On a job posting, next to the salary range
  • In a benefits or total-compensation explainer, with the 401(k) calculator
  • On a relocation page, so candidates can compare states

Every calculator on the site can be embedded the same way. For HR teams, recruiters and career sites, these tend to earn their place:

Performance, privacy and attribution

Performance. The widget is a lazy-loaded iframe, so it cannot block your page rendering and is only fetched when scrolled near. It ships no ads and no analytics of its own.

Privacy. Every figure is computed in the browser. There is no backend that receives your visitors' inputs, so embedding this does not add a data processor to your site.

Attribution. Keep the "Powered by Tallivo" link, followed and visible. Please don't add nofollow or hide it with CSS. That link is what pays for the calculator being free.

Accuracy. The figures are the same ones the site runs on, documented in the methodology and dated on each page. Our editorial policy explains how they are checked, and corrections is how to tell us if one is wrong.

Questions HR teams, recruiters and career sites ask

Does salary data get sent anywhere?
No. Every calculation runs in the visitor's browser. Nothing typed into the widget is transmitted to Tallivo or to you — there is no backend to receive it. That is a design decision, and it is why the embed can sit on a careers page without a privacy review.
What does it cost, and is there a catch?
Nothing, and no. There is no signup, no key, no usage limit and no expiry. The widget carries one small 'Powered by Tallivo' link back to the calculator — that link is the entire business model, and it is the only thing we ask.
Will it slow my page down?
It loads in an iframe with loading="lazy", so the browser only fetches it when it is close to the viewport, and it cannot block your page's own rendering. The embed carries no ads and no third-party analytics.
Can I match it to my site's colours?
There is a light and a dark theme, set with ?theme=day or ?theme=night in the iframe URL — the host page chooses, so the widget matches your design rather than the visitor's system preference. Beyond that the widget keeps its own styling, which is what lets us support it without breaking your layout.
Do I have to keep the attribution link?
Yes — it is the condition of free use, and it must stay a normal followed link. Other than that you can place the widget wherever you like, on as many pages as you like, including commercial ones.

Free to embed on commercial and non-commercial sites alike. Calculators are estimates for general information, not financial, tax or legal advice — that disclaimer travels with the widget.
